    Instead of speculating later, address this now while there’s still a chance.

    Instead of the generic question, “Is there anything from my background or skills that might hinder my progress in this opportunity?”

    Why not ask directly:

    “How does my profile compare to the other final candidates you’re considering, both in strengths and weaknesses?”

    You’re used to dealing with competition in your sales roles, so why avoid it in the interview process?

    Ask for real, immediate obstacles to getting the role. You might be able to overcome them right away.

    Don’t guess or wonder later. Tackle them head-on
