    Happy New Year from the team here at Pulse Recruitment. We hope that you got some well earned R&R over the break.

    We are already up and running and working on some exciting roles and have been talking with some incredible talent and companies.

    In 2023, the tech industry is expected to see a focus on experience and flexibility when it comes to hiring, with an emphasis on hybrid skillsets and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.

     

    1. Hiring managers are likely to prioritise candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-first mindset.
    2. Companies are expected to invest more heavily in upskilling and reskilling existing employees, as well as hiring new talent with the right skillsets.
    3. Companies are likely to seek out candidates with more diverse backgrounds and experiences in order to better capture different perspectives and unlock new insights.

    With tighter economic conditions emerging, the customer will want to see strong evidence of ROI when buying new tech and will scrutinise renewals. For sales teams, we expect an increased focus on data-driven decision making, with sales teams leveraging data and analytics to inform their strategies and tactics. Furthermore, there will likely be a greater emphasis on digital transformation, with sales teams leveraging technology to streamline processes and build relationships at scale.
