This means that, on average, a woman spends five months of her life staring awkwardly at her wardrobe, pondering, &#8220;what should I wear?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Don&#8217;t worry; if you have an interview coming up and aren&#8217;t sure what to wear \u2013 we&#8217;ve got you covered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In most cases, we recommend dressing corporate or &#8220;smart casual&#8221; for an interview. Being overdressed is often preferable to being underdressed. After all, you get one chance to make a good first impression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Here are our top 11 tips for dressing appropriately for your next interview:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dress the part. If you&#8217;re interviewing at a corporate office, you can dress professionally. If you&#8217;re interviewing at a more laid-back business (like a start-up), you may be able to get away with wearing smart casual jeans and a shirt.
