There are eight styles split into four pairs. You can ask yourself the following questions to understand the meaning behind each of the four pairs\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I)<\/strong> \u2013 Where do you get your energy from? Do you prefer to focus on the outer world or on your own inner world?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sensing (S) or Intuition (N)<\/strong> &#8211; Do you prefer to focus on the basic information you take in or do you prefer to interpret and add meaning?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Thinking (T) or Feeling (F)<\/strong> &#8211; When making decisions, do you prefer to first look at logic and consistency or first look at the people and special circumstances?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Judging (J) or Perceiving (P)<\/strong> &#8211; In dealing with the outside world, do you prefer to get things decided or do you prefer to stay open to new information and options?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Each pair can be defined as a set of scales. You may prefer one style more than the other or be an equal balance of the two. Although you have preferences, you still use all eight styles &#8211; in the same way, that most people are right-handed but they still use both hands!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Why take the test?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Provides information about your \u201cbright side\u201d, but also your \u201cdark side\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Helps you better understand yourself<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Helps you better understand your colleagues, your friends and loved ones which can improve your relationships<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recognise your habits that emerge at times of stress and difficulty<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Make clearer perceptions and sounder judgements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Helps you with career planning<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your result is an abbreviation &#8211; four letters. <strong>My type is ISTJ \u2013 Introversion, Sensing, Thinking and Judging. <\/strong>All types are equal, there is no best type! I sat the test back in 2009 after I graduated from University.
